Smart Air Mobility
Efficient and effective mobility solutions are one of the critical demands of future cities. Still several challenges need to be overcome with techno-strategic approaches requiring an integrated approach of technology, infrastructure and business models. One particular aspect of this integration is to create multidisciplinary research community. Hence our aim is to establish such a community to work on novel technologies enabling next-generation air mobility. We aim to perform collaborative research and educational efforts for:
- building high-level autonomy at every partition of air mobility
- establishing strong bridges in between aerospace, wearable textiles, integrated design, and AI
- providing seamless and dynamic integration of human and autonomy
- fostering sustainable materials and manufacturing in air mobility including green solutions on carbon foot print, visual and noise pollution
The community is expected to create solutions on engineering and technology driven problems, work interdisciplinary, build challenge-oriented learning for undergraduate and graduate students, establish workshops to foster community members expertise.
